‘the essential preliminary enquiry for most planning applications’

Randolphe Palmer Design is a Thaxted (Dunmow) based design service offering architectural services via CAD design drafting to clients in Essex, London, Hertfordshire and Suffolk. Projects undertaken include residential developments: - house extensions, loft conversions and new build houses - and - commercial projects: retail/leisure - shops, pubs and restaurants. I also work on larger developments (units of houses and apartments) for private developers.

I provide
structural engineering and calculations as well as building control consultation on all projects: I remain committed to thorough liaison with planning and building control professionals at all stages of an application: a ‘three way loop of communication is set up, via e-mails, between the client, the designer, and the planners.

‘Randolphe Palmer Design’ has fourteen years experience in planning & building control applications - including Conservation Planning and Grade II Listed Building Consent planning.

I have worked with many of the London boroughs, Essex District Councils, Herts councils and

Suffolk councils on many small to medium sized projects.

I maintain close contacts with other designers and architects and regularly use web based providers of building control structural details.
